IPU CET entrance examination
The Government of NCT of Delhi established
its first university with the name of Guru Gobind Singh Indrapastha University
in 1998. It is a teaching cum affiliating university with the purposeful
objective of the promotion of the research, studies and extension work in
emerging areas of higher education with professional education, for example
engineering, technology, management studies, pharmacy, medicine, education,
nursing, law etc and to achieve the excellence in these and connected fields.
Eligibility
criteria for the IPU CET entrance examination
The candidate has to satisfy the
eligibility criteria to appear for the entrance examination.
1. Academic qualification:
For all the undergraduate
programs, candidates must pass in class 12th standard examination of
10+2 pattern of CBSE.
2. Age:
The candidate should not
be more than 21 years. The upper age limit may be relaxed up to maximum of 5
years in exceptional cases by the admission officer of the concerned program if
he/she is satisfied with the merit of the case.
3. Subjects(aggregate):
The minimum aggregate of 55%
marks in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed
in the each subject separately.
Important
dates for IPU-CET (B.Tech) entrance examination
The important dates to remember by the
candidate for the IPU-CET entrance examination are given below.
1.
The last date for submitting
the application form is 10th April, 2014
2.
The date of entrance
examination is 17th May, 2014. (for B.tech code-130 for IPUCET)
3.
The date of entrance
examination is on 18th May, 2014.(for B.tech code-131 for IPUCET)
4.
The declaration of the result
is on the 27th May, 2014.
The medium of the test will
be in English only. The each question in the question paper shall carry four
marks. One mark will be deducted for each correct answer. The candidates should
bring a black ball point pen to the examination hall for the writing/marking
responses on OMR mark sheet.

1. Sale of the application
forms
The admission brochure along
with the application form is made available on sale on all the working days
during the normal banking hours from the branches of Indian bank.
2. Submission of the
application forms via online mode
For the convenience to the
applicants as well as their parents/guardians, the university is also providing
the facility of the online submission of the application form for CET 2014.
3. Submission of the form by
post/hand
The brochures are to be
submitted by hand at the university counter or it may be sent by the registered
post/speed post to the address given below.
