About SRM Engineering Entrance examination (SRMEEE)

 

The SRM University will conduct the SRMEEE 2015 entrance examination both in online and offline mode to offer admissions to the candidates in to the various B.Tech/B.E courses for the session into the various campuses. The aspirants will appear for the SRMEEE in offline mode for the SRMJEEE on the 26^th April, 2015. The candidate can select the exam mode while applying for the examination.

SRM university, a deemed university, located in the Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu would conduct the SRM University EEE to select the candidates for admission on the available seats in colleges and institutes.      

SRM application form 

To apply for the SRMEEE 2015, the candidates can fill the application form till the date of the 10^th March, 2015. The last date to send filled application form of the SRM University whose description is given below. 

In offline mode

The form can be obtained from the following centres at sale.

1.       Banks (Indian Bank, Karur Vysya bank, City union bank, Axis bank, State bank of India)

2.       SRM university campus

3.       Post offices

In online mode

1.       The candidate can register on the official SRM university website by providing all the necessary information about the candidate.

2.       Use the unique voucher code to complete the form. 

SRMEEE eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for the SRM engineering entrance examination (SRMEEE) is given below. The candidates are required to satisfy the below eligibility criteria. 

1.       The candidates must have passed the class XII or equivalent examination as recognised by the state or central education board with minimum 70% aggregate.

2.       The candidate must have Physics, Maths and Chemistry as subjects in the qualifying examination.

3.       Only Indians who have done class XI, XII are also eligible.  

SRMEEE exam pattern

The SRM EEE gives the different type of questions which provide the following 

1.       Type of questions- multiple choice questions.

2.       Number of sections in the exam – 4.

3.       Net duration of the examination – 2:30 hours.

4.       Number of questions – 140 (chemistry-35, Physics- 35, Biology-35 questions).

5.       Total marks in the exam – 315.

6.       +3 marks for the correct answer and -1 mark for the wrong answer respectively. 

SRMEEE admit card

The candidates are advised to download their SRMEEE 2015 admit card on completing the application form submission process. The candidates can book the online exam slots and download the hall ticket in the first week of the April 2015. 

The hall ticket would be sent to the candidate through the post as well. In case of any errors or nay discrepancy in the application process, the candidates are requested to the contact the SRM representative.
