Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission(TNEA) 2014.

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission(TNEA) is a complete process through which more than 1.5 lakh aspirants to get enrolled into the technical colleges in this state. The Tamil Government entrusted the Anna University for conducting the Engineering admissions in Tamil Nadu for the year 2014. The Anna University is developed and designed the procedure for the Single Window Counselling to avoid any kind of hassle and to also ensure that all the candidates in the state get admitted to the various colleges in Tamil Nadu transparently. 

The process for the whole counselling begins with the issuing of the application forms to the candidates. The students who wish to pursue an engineering degree in the colleges in Tamil Nadu must look for this application form from the nearest venue issuing the application form.
The form would also consist of instruction booklet, coding sheet as well as list of all the engineering colleges for your support. The application form could be availed soon after the class 12th result is out. The candidates are supposed to submit the application forms after filling all the necessary details into it. 

Application Scrutiny:

This process starts soon after the submission of the application form and it is an internal process in which the coding sheets submitted by the aspirants will be scanned and the data will be fed to the computer for further processing. That is the reason that the coding sheet provided to the candidate along with the application form must be filled with very high attention. 

Random Number:

The candidate must duly check for all the minimum eligibility criterions. The students must obtain the minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry and Math. 

Call Letter for Counselling:

After short listing the different candidates based on their marks, the students will be called for counselling on the rank that is given to them. The candidates will receive a call letter that will contain the date of the counselling and the allotment of the seats will be sent to the communication address of that candidate. The candidates can also look for their date of counselling on the official website of TNEA. 

Single Window Counselling

On the counselling day, the candidates will have to go through a series of steps: 

Payment at the nearest branch of Bank 

Briefing Session 

Verification of the Certificates 

Allotment of the seats 

Allotment Order 

After all these steps are completed, the students are entitled to the college as well as the branch that they deserve in the Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.
