ICAR AIEEA-UG-PG Entrance exams 2016
Indian Council of Agricultural Research invites
applications from Indian Nationals, in the prescribed format for ICAR
AIEEA-UG-2016. This examination is conducted every year for
admission in agricultural courses. The ICAR Agricultural Universities in
Bachelor degree programmes in agriculture and allied subjects. The
ICAR 2016 Entrance Test dates are now re-scheduled in May 2016 for admission in UG
and PG courses in Agricultural Education field in Deemed Universities
of ICAR. The candidates who are eligible can submit their application form on
the arriving date of application form from the official ICAR website.
Eligibility
Criteria:
1) Age
AIEEA-UG-2016:
Between 17 to 23 years for General Category candidates as
on 31st August 2016.
AIEEA-PG-2016:
Not less than 19 years as on 31st August, 2016.
AICE- SRF (PGS)-2016:
Between 21 to 30 years for General Category candidates as
on 12th April, 2016.
Note:
The upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PC/OBC Categories shall be relaxable by 5 years. For in-service candidates, the maximum age limit shall be 45 years in all cases as per the extant norms and guidelines.

Qualifying
Examination:
AIEEA-UG-2016 (Other than Veterinary
Sciences):
Must have passed and obtained not less than 50% marks in
aggregate for admission under General, UPS (Underprivileged State) and OBC
Categories or 40% Marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PC
categories in 10+2 examination or equivalent / Inter (Agriculture) with PCM/
PCB/ PCMB/ PCA/ PCH subject combinations.
AIEEA-PG-2016:
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Veterinary,
Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, Sericulture,
Dairy Technology, Forestry, Agri, Marketing and Cooperation, Food Science,
Biotechnology, Basic and allied Sciences, etc. under 10+2+5 or 10+2+4 or 10+6
Years Degree Programs.
Few seats are also available for candidates having
Bachelor Degree with 10+2+3 year Degree Programme with required OGPA of
6.60/10,3.25/5,2.60/4 for General, OBC and UPS Categories, whereas for SCI
ST/PC Categories, the said requirement is 5.60/10, 2.75/5, 2.20/4 respectively.
Cost
of Application Form:
AIEEA-UG-2016:
Rs.500/- for General, OBC and UPS Categories and Rs.250/-
for SC, ST and PC Categories.
AIEEA-PG-2016:
Rs.600/- for General, OBC and UPS Categories and Rs.300/-
for SC, ST and PC Categories.
SRF (PGS)-2016:
Fee of Rs.1200/- for General OBC and Rs.600/- for SC/ST
and PC Categories shall have to be deposited while submitting the application

In addition, Rs.25/- per Bulletin would be charged in
case of UG and PG as handling charges plus Service Tax, as applicable, in case
of purchase against cash.
