CIPET Chennai JEE 2016 Entrance Exam Notification

Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) Chennai invites online application for the admission for the Diploma, Post Diploma, and PostGraduate Diploma & Doctoral Programs for the academic year 2016 – 2017. All these course seats will be filled based on the candidates score with the CIPET JEE Entrance Examination 2016.

CIPET Courses Offered & Age Limit:

Postgraduate Diploma in Plastics Processing & Testing (PGD-PPT) duration is 1½ years and the maximum age limit is 25 years. The educational qualification is 3 year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects.

Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Testing & Quality Management (PGD-PTQM) duration is 1½ years and the maximum age is 25 years, whilst the educational qualification is 3 year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects.

Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design with CAD/CAM and the course duration is 1½ years and the maximum age is 25 years. The educational qualification for this course is 3 year Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics Technology, Tool/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Tool & Die Making, DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or equivalent.

Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT). The course duration is 3 years and the maximum age limit is 20 years. The educational qualification is, the candidates should have passed Class 10 or School Secondary level exam with English and Science and Maths as compulsory papers from any recognized board of exam

Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT) where the course duration is 3 years and the age limit is of maximum age 20 years. The candidates should have passed Class 10 or school secondary level exam with English and Science and Maths as compulsory papers from any recognized board of exam for this course.

Important Dates for CIPET JEE Entrance Exam 2016:

Last date for registration of online Application for the CIPET JEE 2016 is on 06th May 2016
Last date for receipt of online Application with enclosures at CIPET Head Office is on 13th May 2016
Issue of Hall Tickets (for eligible candidates) will commenced from last week of May 2016
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) will be conducted on 05th June 2016
CIPET Release of JEE 2016 Results will be on 03rdWeek of June 2016
Issue of Admission Call Letters (for selected candidates) will be made from 3rd week of June 2016
Commencement of Academic Session is on 20th July 2016

CIPET Course Fees Details:

For PGD-PPT is Rs 16,500/- per semester
For PD-PMD with CAD/CAM is Rs 16,500/- per semester
For DPMT is Rs 13,750/- per semester
For DPT is Rs 13,750/- per semester
CIPET Application Fees Course:
For General Candidates Rs.250/-
For Sc/ST candidates Rs.50/-
You can either pay in cash or even take the DD in favor of “CIPET” payable in Chennai.
