CMAT 2nd Phase Test Registration Date Extended



Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online computer-based test conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India. It is a national-level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE.

The first edition of CMAT was introduced and conducted in 2012. For 2012, there were around 4 lakh seats in the AICTE-approved management programmes in India, which were be covered by the test.

The 2012 Exam were conducted from 20th to 28th Feb 2012 and the Results were declared on 11 March 2012.

For 2013-14 it will be conducted twice.

First test has been conducted from 27th September to 1st October 2012 and second test will be conducted in Feb 2013.

As such the second phase of the CMAT exams to be held for the year 2013-2014 is scheduled to be conducted within a 5 day test window starting from: 21st  Feb' 2013 and ending on 25th Feb' 2013 in 64 cities.

The registration date was set earlier in the month of December 2012 as the last date. But this has now been extended till 9th January, 2013 to help facilitate those students who have failed to register on time.
