A general note on ENAT Entrance Examination
The Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) takes
its admissions into the B.Tech/B.E degrees through the ENAT examination. The
ENAT is generally known as the EPSI National admissions test (ENAT) conducted
by the Manipal Institute of technology. The engineering entrance examination
ENAT is an online based entrance examination.
The unique feature of the ENAT examination is
that it shows its immediate results once the examinees answer the last
question.
ENAT
eligibility criteria
The candidate has to satisfy the given
eligibility criteria to attend the ENAT examination.
1.
The candidate should have been
born before or on the date of 31st December, 1992.
2.
The qualification of the
candidate should be HSC examination pass or its equivalent.
3.
Only Indian nationals are
eligible to apply.
4.
The candidates applying for
lateral B-tech should have three year diploma in Engineering approved by the
board of technical examination.
5.
The candidate can also be a
holder of the BSc degree in mathematics with an overall percentage of 50%.

Procedure
The admissions are done on the basis of
ranks in Manipal EPSI National admission test.
ENAT
paper pattern
The examination pattern for the ENAT
examination is given below. The applicants have to appear for an online test
which will be of two and half hours duration. The total number of questions is
240 and circulated as follows.
Physics- 60 questions
Chemistry- 60 questions
Mathematics- 80 questions
English and General ability- 40 questions
ENAT
registration/application form
The applicant can apply either online or
offline. In the online method, the applicant has to provide the basic
examination, give the personal details and photograph, and make the payment
either through debit/credit card.
In the offline mode, the applicant has to
provide the basic information and download the application form. The completed
form must be submitted on or before the last date along with the necessary
details, documents and fees (in demand draft). The application fee for the
Manipal ENAT 2014 is Rs.600/- application fee and rs.1000 entrance fee. The application
fee can be paid via online payment or in DD drawn in favour of ‘Manipal
University’ payable at Udupi and Manipal.
